An ethanol content analyzer that reports live blend to the ECU, so a flex calibration can adapt timing and fuelling to whatever is actually in the tank rather than assuming a fixed blend. This is the hardware a proper flex-fuel tune depends on — without it the car has to be calibrated conservatively for the worst-case fill.
